Better, the flagship 2011 Estate Perigee is a rocking blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 6% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot that comes from the windblown loess soils of the Seven Hills Vineyard outside of Walla Walla. Concentrated, rich and with solid structure, this medium to full-bodied effort has classic black raspberry, cassis, lead pencil, toast and assorted spices to go with building tannin, solid mid-palate depth and impressive length. It will have over a decade of total longevity. This was another fine set of releases from proprietors Megan and Marty Clubb.
