The 2010 Malagousia is delicate in the mid-palate, but aromatically intense, floral and fragrant, with some grassy notes. It is fun just to smell, but it tastes great, too. If it is a little light, it is bursting with fresh flavors, seeming invigorating and delicious. It is a very nice effort, for early consumption. It should be perfect this summer. The alcohol is only 13% but it did seem a bit noticeable at times. There were 5,000 bottles made. Drink now-2012. Avantis is a family run boutique that makes small production wines.
