This is a slightly sweet interpretation of Prosecco that goes deep into regional tradition, especially where Cartizze is concerned. The Bortolomiol 2021 Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Millesimato Dry is a beautiful expression with subtle softness that comes forth with white rose, candied almond and white peach. The wine caresses the palate with its soft beading and foamy texture. Drinking Cartizze is always a special treat. This is a 16,252-bottle production.

I have not yet reviewed a Cartizze wine from Bortolomiol, so this could be a new product. The 2017 Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Millesimato Dry is extremely bright in appearance, and the wine beautifully captures the ambient light. The bouquet offers lemon mousse, candied almond and summer peach. It finishes with softness and creamy-foamy bubbles.

This beautiful expression of the Cartizze cru (Prosecco’s most celebrated vineyard site) shows feminine elegance and finesse with white mineral notes woven within spring flower and stone fruit.
