Altesino's 1988 Palazzo Altesi (made completely from the Sangiovese Grosso grape grown in their Montosoli Vineyard) is a more evolved, sweet-scented wine than the 1988 Alte d'Altesi, with huge aromas of jammy, earthy, red and black fruits intermingled with herbs and toasty new oak.
