Pale amber with brown colors toward the core, the 1964 Hill of Grace shows a little oxidized (rancio) character over nutty, caramel notes and a touch of sultanas highlighted by fleeting wafts of Asian spices. Medium-bodied, it still shows some fruit in the mouth but is fading slightly aside crisp acid and a medium level of grainy tannins before finishing long. It is mature.
