From the beautiful hilltop town of Impruneta, the 2017 Chianti Classico Le Masse di Greve is a hot-vintage expression with dark fruit, cola and cherry liqueur. The wine offers an open-knit approach with medium depth and a straightforward style. Tarry smoke and hints of spice appear. This is a 14,000-bottle release.

Intense aromas and flavors of violet, black currant and blueberry mark this dense red, with a swath of dusty tannins lining the finish without being overly assertive.
