The 2015 Chianti Classico Le Masse di Greve opens to a lean, streamlined style with bright berry fruit and dried blueberries. This is a simple wine with enough structural backbone and acidity freshness to pair with a juicy charbroiled cheeseburger. The blend is 95% Sangiovese with 5% Colorino and Canaiolo. Some 30,000 bottles were made.

Bold and expressive, offering cherry pie, currant, leather, tobacco, earth and iron flavors, supported by a tightly woven matrix of tannins.
