The 2014 Barolo Bussia reveals a bouquet that is driven in large part by secondary aromas of spice and leather. It has some distant primary fruit but to a much smaller extent. This vintage is thin in consistency, and it shows a short, simple finish. The overall effect is weak and thin (on the Barolo scale). Some 4,000 bottles were made.

An enticing red, with accents of vanilla and spice shading the core of cherry, licorice and tar flavors. Fluid and elegant, presenting a moderately long finish. Best from 2020 through 2032. 400 cases made, 250 cases imported.??–BS??Region: Italy / Piedmont / Barolo Select to Add
