The 2016 Pinot Noir Clone 115, which derives from a south-facing hillside within Ashley's Vineyard, offers up notes of red and black cherries, coniferous forest floor, raw cocoa and new oak. On the palate, the wine is supple, quite open-knit and a little diffuse, missing some of the concentration, depth and complexity that one finds in some of Fess Parker's other Pinot Noirs this year.
