The 2006 Manna from Franz Haas is a cuvee of 20% Chardonnay fermented in barrel, plus 50% Riesling, 20% Traminer and 10% Sauvignon fermented in stainless steel. This elegant, refined white is one of the few of these blends where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Fragrant, expressive aromatics lead to a core of ripe fruit, with excellent depth and lovely overall balance. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2011.
