The screw-capped 2019 Manna is a blend of 40% Riesling, 20% Chardonnay, 15% Gewürztraminer, 15% Kerner and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. Only the Chardonnay and the Sauvignon Blanc are fermented in oak. The wine's bouquet is quite elaborate and layered, and it's nearly impossible to make out any one single variety. Instead, the carefully integrated blend presents a vibrant bouquet with stone fruit, preserved lemon and some spicy cumin seed. I could see this wine pairing with chicken marinated in Moroccan spices. There is an evident floral component as well with honeysuckle and jasmine, and lastly, the wine delivers a pretty mineral note that sings out loud and clear. Production is 50,000 bottles.
