This wine is composed of five grapes: 40% Riesling and 20% Chardonnay with smaller parts Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner and Gewürztraminer. The 2016 Manna (in a screwcap bottle) is a wine that delivers impressive consistency over the years. The percentage of each grape used in the blend can be tweaked to meet the conditions of each vintage, but the overall performance of the wine remains very high despite the difficulties encountered in any specific growing season. The 2017 vintage has produced very impressive wines in Alto Adige. This pretty wine shows lots of citrus character with passion fruit, wild sage and honeysuckle. The effect is balanced, crisp and focused. Most of the grapes are fermented individually in stainless steel and later assembled before aging on the lees in oak for ten months. Some 50,000 bottles are released.
