The 1991 Chambolle-Musigny-Les Amoureuses is made from exceptionally low yields because of the hail that hit Chambolle. This deep ruby-colored wine offers an excellent nose of red and black fruits and vanillin, a tasty, rich, well-knit, medium-bodied personality, fine depth and ripeness, and a moderately tannic finish. It should drink well for at least a decade.

NOTES ON THE 1992s FROM BARREL: Jadot's 1992 reds appear to be fruitier, more charming and attractive wines than the 1991s. Not as powerful nor as tannic as the 1991s, they display seductive, velvety textures and loads of sweet fruit. They are particularly strong in Jadot's extensive Cote de Beaune portfolio. Moreover, prices for the 1992s will be lower, making them attractive buys.
