Another cuvée that was showing especially well was the 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Jarrons, a lovely wine in the making that exhibits scents of spices, plums, woodsmoke, raspberries and candied peel. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural, with a rich and charming core of fruit, ripe tannins and juicy acids.
