The 2001 Barolo Bussia is very, very pretty. Warm spiced notes lead to dark red raspberries, crushed flowers and menthol as the Bussia shows off its generous personality. The 2001 is quite vibrant and polished. Layers of fruit build to the textured finish. There is more than enough richness for the 2001 to continue to drink well for at least another decade. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2021.
