Elegant black cherry and raspberry notes emerge from the 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape, along with soft tannins, a round, medium-bodied style, and good freshness, purity, and length. It should drink well for 6-8 years at the minimum.
When Olivier Hillaire dissolved his partnership with Domaine des Relagnes, he took one of their top vineyard parcels, Les Petits Pieds d’Armand, with him. Hillaire is a multi-talented gentleman as not only is he a skilled winemaker, but he also owns the finest bakery in the village of Chateauneuf du Pape.
