This is a blend of 70% Insolia and 30% Chardonnay with fruit coming from Cusumano's Tenuta Ficuzza property. The 2018 Sicilia Angimbé is a fresh and delicately perfumed wine that reveals notes of peach, lemon and a very distant touch of sweet spice or vanilla. This is a lean wine in terms of mouthfeel with light waves of cream or pastry filling that add more texture. You get great value, and with 200,000 bottles made, this wine should prove easy to locate.
