The 2004 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva offers up dark cherries, wood smoke, menthol, and spices. This is an especially dark, brooding Brunello from Collosorbo, but over time, the layers of flavor gradually fill out as the wine finds its center. There is plenty of complexity and class here, all readers need to do is be a bit patient. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2022. This is a mixed set of wines from Collosorbo.
