The 1999 Condrieu Coteaux du Vernon is a candidate for one of the top wines of the vintage. Sadly, there are only 320 cases of this wine, which consistently exhibits grand cru Burgundy-like richness, a fabulous texture, an intense liquid minerality, and classic Condrieu aromas and flavors of peaches, apricots, honeysuckle, and flowers.
