The 2010 Rosso Piceno Superiore Vigna Monteprandone brings together the best elements of the vintage and the house style. This is one of the more elegant wines in the Saladini Pilastri range, perhaps because it emerges from the estate’s oldest vines. There is plenty of concentration in the fruit, but the wilder notes found in some of the other wines are pretty much absent, which elevates the 2010.
