This was the finest white I have yet tasted from Marcoux. The full-bodied, unctuously-textured 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape blanc (a 2,100-bottle blend of 66% Roussanne and 34% Bourboulenc) offers beautiful aromas of flowers, lemon, honey, lavender, sweet white currants, and tropical fruits. With plenty of power as well as low acidity, I would opt for drinking it over the next several years.
