This is a more meaty, fleshy, and obvious example of a white Domaine de Chevalier. It lacks the structure and precision, as well as the great depth and haunting complexity, of the 1983, but it offers plenty of toasty vanillin oak, a big, fat, fleshy texture, and loads of alcohol and wood in the finish. Anticipated maturity: Now-2003. Last tasted, 3/90.
