The 2011 Barolo Brunate is a dark, gutsy expression of Barolo to pair with grilled or roasted meat dishes. There is a tight, slightly austere side to the wine that is reinforced by dark fruit flavors, cola, tar and campfire ash. The wine is firm in structure and long in persistence.
