Even better, the 2003 Cote Rotie La Garde is still a baby in terms of development and is up-front, perfumed and elegant. More classic in style, with a vibrant creme de cassis, iron, crushed rock and spice-driven bouquet, it’s full-bodied, seamless and layered on the palate, with solid mid-palate depth and a rocking finish. More accessible than the La Vialliere, drink it over the coming decade.
Located in the northern part of Cote Rotie, this estate is now owned by Guigal.
