Not yet bottled, the medium-bodied Puligny Montrachet Champs Canet possesses a nose of deep spices and freshly ground white pepper, which is followed by an explosive burst of minerally fruit. This wine should not be cellared for more than 5 years. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29. A rating with a range of scores in parentheses indicates the wine was tasted from cask, not bottle.
