A complex effort made from Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon with a hefty quantity of the indigenous varietal, Bobal, included in the blend, the 2000 Finca Terrerazo was aged in French oak for 16 months prior to bottling. Its opaque purple color is followed by scents of earth, cedar, grilled steak, and soy. A steak tartare component is found in the full-bodied flavors. It is hard to say how long this distinctive wine will last, but it should drink well for 5-7 years, possibly longer.
