Not so for the 2009 Finca Terrerazo, a cuvee of 100% Bobal sourced from 80+-year-old vines aged for 20 months in French oak. This is a structured effort that will reward 3-5 years of cellaring. Minerals, exotic spices, incense, smoke, and assorted black fruits inform the nose of this dense, layered, richly fruity, lengthy Bobal. It will offer a drinking window extending from 2015 to 2024.
