While purer than the 2000, the 2001 Hermitage Le Reverdy Estate is also higher in acidity. It offers a flowery, buttery, fino sherry-like perfume, medium to full body, and an austere personality.
Ferraton’s wines are made under the auspices of Michel Chapoutier and his talented oenologist, Alberic Mazoyer. Two levels of quality are offered, the negociant cuvees (made from purchased wines and/or grapes) and the single vineyard estate offerings.
