A 50-50 blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, sourced from the le Meal and les Beaumes lieux-dits, the 2017 Ermitage Le Reverdy Blanc was bottled only a month before my visit. It's bright and citrusy, with hints of honey and strong pineapple overtones. It's medium to full-bodied and boasts admirable power and intensity but comes across as slightly straightforward.
