Last Tasted 12/91
The light ruby/orange color and cedary, lead pencil, delicate bouquet made me think this wine (tasted blind) was an old Lafite-Rothschild. Not so. Surprisingly delicate, and bordering and losing some of its fruit, this pale-colored, lighter-styled Trotanoy exhibited a marvelous perfume. It lacked the succulence and plump fatness and ripeness one usually sees in a top Pomerol. I would opt for drinking it up.
