The 2014 Brunello di Montalcino Molino del Piano opens to an attractive, dark appearance. Like many other wines from this vintage, both the bouquet and the mouthfeel are somewhat lacking in intensity and length. This wine presents a solid offering of wild berry, cherry and dried rose aromas. The mouthfeel is lightweight and lean. Annual production ranges from 40,000 to 60,000 bottles, depending on the vintage.
