The charmless 2006 Gigondas comes across like a 2005 as it is austere, lean, and hard. This bastion of traditionalism is a good source of reasonably priced wines. They also make some Rasteau and Chateauneuf du Pape, but Domaine St.-Gayan’s finest wines are usually their Cotes du Rhone and Gigondas.Importer: A Christopher Cannan Selection, various American importers including Michael Skurnik, Syosset, NY; tel.
