Packaged with its distinctive silver label, the Pinino 2017 Brunello di Montalcino offers good volume and depth with a well-perfumed bouquet that is focused on dark fruit and earthy notes. There's no mistaking this as anything but a hot-vintage wine, and although some of the cooler vintages tend to show more complexity than what you get here, this wine is reflective of its territory and unique growing conditions. There is a point of sourness on the close, and the tannins remain tight over a streamlined mouthfeel. Exactly 20,162 bottles were made.
