The 2013 Sensibility Grenache from the Paderewski vineyard, harvested August 30th, fermented in concrete and aged 15 months in neutral barrels. "I started picking earlier this year because I wanted to capture freshness," recalls winemaker Jordan Fiorentini. "2013 was still a drought year, an earlier year, with more stuffing than the 2012s." Medium ruby in color, it's scented of wild berry jam, with streaks of spice, citrus and floral perfume. The palate is grainy and fresh, and it has tremendous length and perfume. 215 cases were made.
