Not surprisingly (given this high quality vintage in Condrieu), the three 2010 Condrieus are all spectacular. Crushed rock, spring flower and marmalade aromas soar from the glass of the 2010 Condrieu Clos Chanson. From one of the appellation's finest hillside vineyards, this rich, full white reveals laser-like definition and precision. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. Perret has long been one of the northern Rhone's finest producers of white wines, and over the last decade he has also raised the quality of his red wines as evidenced by these two vintages of St.-Joseph.
