Doug Tunnell, the proprietor and winemaker of Brick House, crafted a marvelous, medium to dark ruby-colored 1998 Gamay Noir. Aromatically, it reveals leather, black fruit, and white pepper scents. On the palate, this medium-bodied, velvety-textured wine is packed with juicy blackberries, cracked black pepper, and touches of freshly laid asphalt.
