Outside of Beaujolais, there is but one address to locate consistently high quality Gamay in my opinion, and that’s Brick House. The freshly laid asphalt, blackberry, and red cherry-scented 2003 Gamay Noir packs a powerful punch. Its medium to full-bodied character is powerful, oily textured, and immensely rich. Blackberries, black cherries, tar, and licorice are found in its intense flavor profile. Drink it over the next 3 years.
