In 1992, Coche's yields were higher than he would have liked. For the first time Coche will be offering some of his Meursaults with their vineyard name, rather than blending them together into a village Meursault. There are five separate single vineyard Meursault cuvees.
In 1992, the world will have 350 cases of Meursault-Les Perrieres to fight over. The battle will be worth it. It offers a compelling bouquet of steel, minerals, ripe honeyed apple fruit, and floral aromas. The long, full-bodied, rich, multi-dimensional, chewy flavors are decadent. The acid is low, but that will only serve to guarantee that this wine is guzzled down in its first 5-6 years of life. It is a magnificent Meursault-Les Perrieres.
