The Fattoria La Lecciaia 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Manapetra is fermented in stainless steel and then moves over to a combination of both barrique and botte grande for 30 months of aging. This wine offers good dimension and thickness with dark fruit, plum, blackberry and dried currant. The texture is chewy, round and reflective of the warm vintage. I would suggest a near to medium-term drinking window.
