A blend of 55% Corvina, 30% Rondinella and 15% Molinara, the 2012 Valpolicella San Pietro makes an informal impression in the mouth, thanks to simple tones of dried cherry, cassis and dried herb. The wine is lean and short in persistency. It undergoes malolactic fermentation and spends eight months in oak.
