The 1994 Barolo Vigna Giachini adds floral and spicy new oak aromas to those of cherry liqueur, tar, and cigar box scents. Bigger and richer than its sibling, it possesses full body, excellent fruit purity, fine length, and 3-5 years of drinkability. It, too, should be consumed over the near-term.
This small winery in La Morra is owned by two brothers who have approximately 17 acres of vines.
