Despite the name, the sourcing of this 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape includes fruit from ten different lieux-dits, not just Pignan. Aged in a mix of steel, concrete, foudre and barrique, this full-bodied blend of 64% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre, 12% Syrah and other bits and pieces is creamy and lush in the mouth, with black cherry and spice notes on the slightly warm finish.
