With fruit from La Morra that tends to show softer lines and silkier tannins, the 2019 Barolo Fossati delivers a dark ruby color with aromas of bright cherry fruit and dried raspberry followed by grilled herb and crushed flowers. Notes of ripe red fruit, cocoa, dark spices and honey. Medium- to full-bodied, very polished and fine with silky, evenly spread tannins and a lingering finish. Structured and compact yet ripe and velvety. Better from 2026.

An opulent red, with raspberry and cherry fruit embraced by toasty oak. Vibrant, racy even, with a dense matrix of tannins for support. Reveals rose hip and tobacco accents on the lingering finish.
