The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape is dark plum/purple, with silky tannins, abundant black currant and sweet cherry fruit with hints of mulberries, lavender and licorice. It is perfumed, full-bodied, rich and appealing. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. This has been a reliable producer for at least two decades, capably administered by the Versino family.
