The 2001 Buriano, all Cabernet, an inky ruby in color, offers very ripe blackberry and black currant fruit, resin, and eucalyptus in its aromatics, a weighty, full-throttle palate of creme de cassis and gravel, and a warm, intense licorice and graphite-laden finish.
