The deep ruby-colored 2001 Dehesa Gago (600 cases for the USA) exhibits abundant quantities of attractive black plum and cherry fruit. Typical of the low-yielding 2001 vintage, it displays more muscle and structure than previous renditions. It will benefit from 3-4 more months of bottle age, and should drink well for 2-3 years.
