The 2007 Dehesa Gago follows in the footsteps of preceding vintages offering great value. It is 100% Tinta de Toro aged in stainless steel. Deep crimson-colored, it offers up an excellent bouquet of pencil lead, violets, incense, and blackberry. Earthy, leafy compost aromas are initially evident on the nose, and while the wine has some feel issue due to an abundance of raw tannins, it eventually rounds out and delivers oily, herbal flavors of blackberry and plum.
