Rocche is the most famous vineyard of this part of La Morra, and the 1999 Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata is, in fact, a better wine than its siblings, a darker garnet in color with ample notes of anise and incense on the nose and a longer, more intense, concentrated palate.
