The 2001 Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata is the only one of Revello’s 2001 Baroli that is starting to show faint, early signs of tertiary advancement. Dried roses, flowers, spices and crushed berries are some of the nuances that flow from the glass. The silky Rocche tannins are there, but the fruit is beginning to fade. Ideally, the Rocche is best enjoyed over the next handful of years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017.
