Masi’s 2006 Campofiorin reveals a soft, floral expression of red fruits framed by silky tannins. This medium-bodied, restrained wine offers lovely balance. Campofiorin is essentially a Valpolicella made in the ripasso style which involves a secondary fermentation on the skins and stems of the estate’s Amarone. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
